PC or polycarbonate is one of the most advanced industrial thermoplastics, which is extremely resistant, durable and strong. PC is known for its high impact strength and is widely used in the manufacture of rigid parts. PC also has high heat resistance up to 110°C, making it the perfect replacement for metals in high temperature environments (e.g. under the hood of a car). PC printed parts are mainly used in later phases of functional testing and finished part assembly. Printed PC parts have been successfully used in manufacturing applications with or without post-processing.
